I mean business

Hello.  It's been a while and many firsts have happened since my last post. Our daughter turned 9 (how did that happen!?) and has been tackling things bigger than herself. So in my attempt to catch up I dived head forward into the things I feared the most, tackling my dreams. I decided to start a photography business.

I never thought this day would come, and first things first - financing!  Hurray for me, I found an "angel investor" (aka my husband).  With his help, I've  rented a tiny studio space. I am about to collect the keys and cannot wait to show you around!

Of course I realize I have done it all backwards, as logically one would have to be earning enough not only to afford to pay for the studio, but also to cover the props and equipment. I have lost my sleep  stressing about this, however, it has given me the much needed kick in the butt to get a move on and start hustling. Reaching out to brands and local businesses like there is no tomorrow, while dreaming of selling my art. They say that successful entrepreneurs live in paranoia, haunted by self-doubt .. well, I've got that bit covered. Now off to make things happen, but first a cup of tea.
